The hosting company has restarted the server. Now 5 Minutes for Mom is working on debugging the system. Thank you for your patience and I will continue to update this post as I get news from Janice and Susan. Meanwhile the additional prize post is up and I will continue to add to it. Please help us spread the word within your own party posts. Feel free to gather your list in the meantime so that you are ready to list your top choices of prizes!

Just to let you all know, we are trying to get our hosting company to deal with our problem. We can’t believe this is happening and we are totally distraught and devastated!
We are sooooo incredibly sorry and we wish that there was something we could do. We have never been so frustrated. We are totally helpless as our hosting company has the ball in their court.

Due to the untimely crash of our site, we feel it is only fair to have a “new start time†for The Ultimate Blog Party 2008. Please check back before 10 am Eastern and we will hopefully have www.5minutesformom.com restored and we will list a new start time.
We cannot apologize enough for this huge inconvenience. Literally, just as we were about to press publish at 12:00am Eastern, the site crashed. We have been sitting at our computers waiting in a “queue†for our hosting company to deal with our issue. We are sick about this crash. We appreciate how infuriating it is for all of you and please know that we are devastated and doing everything we can to remedy the situation.

Bummer!! Why do these things always happen when there is something big like this? I know how frustrated you all much be. I was up until 1 trying and again at 6. I can’t imagine how you all must be feeling with the stress of running it. Looking forward to an update. Good luck.

Thanks Janice and Susan for the update. I am sorry you are going through this - don’t worry about us, we understand that things like this sometimes happen. We’ll wait - in the meantime, don’t stress too much. I’d say a prayer for you and all of us to remain calm

That is SO good to know…I was up til almost 1am last night and have heard from many ladies saying they were up til almost 3am waiting…praying this all works out and all is well.
