#CPSIA Bloggy Carnival Time!

We carry a cute gown and bib set for a new baby.  In order to reduce the cost of 3rd party mandatory testing for phthlates we are giving three of these sets away for the carnival. We have investigated the digestive testing and this particular set would cost $1,350.00 to test for lead and phthlates. It isn’t possible for us to absorb that kind of cost at this time and we will no longer carry these gowns or bibs.

How can you get your hands on one of these sets? Leave us a comment and tell us how you have been proactive about cpsia. Have you twittered about it? Have you posted about it? Signed petitions? Voted for change? Let us know!

Contest is open world wide and will end 11:59pm cst on 2/1/09. Winners are chosen at random. Good Luck!

For more Bloggy Giveaways click here.

With a little help from our friends on Twitter we have our winners!

I have blogged, Twittered, joined 2 groups on Facebook, a group on Twitter, lived in the Fashion Incubator, written to my 3 senators (3 times each), called 2 of them, spoke to Cornynn’s office and got a staffer present at a meeting, spoke with the Atty Generals office, twice, was interviewed and on ABC13 in Houston, called all the local resale shops to inform them… and now I am closing my Pink Zebra Boutique. I am continuing the fight. Oh, and I signed several Ipetitions, have 3 different CPSIA buttons (handmade) on my blog and I voted on change.org, both times.

  29. Marcia Says:

Over at CafeMom, someone was posting untrue facts about what was going to be happening and I went and found links to the CPSIA site where it states the law and wrote a brief description about it for them. I was glad they knew SOMETHING was going to happen, but I can’t take when people post false information to drum up paranoia (although the true facts still do, just not to the extent the lady was saying).

I love this set! I hope I win one!
