Entrecard, Good-bye
We are saying good-bye to Entrecard. We here at Happy Panda apologize for any inconvenience that this might have caused. We thank all the new blogs and bloggers we have found and those who have found us through Entrecard. We are in the children’s apparel industry and consider our blog to be family friendly. The new changes that have developed at Entrecard have caused us to reconsider our relationship. Due to the lack of controlled content that has been appearing when dropping we have no choice but to remove the widget from our blog.

I left entrecard because of Graham’s rudeness and the same concerns over something being shown on my 5 blogs all of which I work very hard to keep family friendly. But I left before the paid advertising hit the widgets and removed the widgets to be sure nothing could accidently be shown. It’s too bad because for awhile entrecard was good. I’m seeing more and more bloggers taking this stance of not allowing these kind of ads on their blog.
I will drop by again especially now we have 3 grandbabies, youngest one just born on Apr. 2. I’m on twitter (gardengnome1) so will follow you.

We are still on the fence about this. So far no horrible ads, we have been picky as to who we choose and have not had random ads poping up. We WILL be watching Entrecard on our site even more closely due to your post and a lot of posts we have seen about the same nature.
It is a shame to loose something that use to be a great tool for Bloggers. We have met so many great people via Entrecard as well as found some awesome blogs!

I haven’t gotten anything bad from it yet, but I just think it looks ugly. I might get rid of it on that fact alone.
