The Happy Panda brand exists to help dress bigger babies. Our design system will help customers find a better fit when shopping by age. Happy Panda produces high quality babywear, designed and made in the USA, using environmentally safe fabrics and inks for the safest, most comfortable fit for the happy panda in your life. Our customers will enjoy knowing that the baby they buy for will be comfortable with our tagless products.

Our Story

Pamela Kramer is the proud parent of not one but three Happy Pandas. Her first baby boy grew so quickly that he was wearing a size 2T before his first birthday. His growth rate made it difficult for friends and family to shop for him by age. The standard size charts did not apply. She became frustrated trying to find clothes that fit while offering the ability to get through those quick diaper changes without completely undressing her baby. 

 In August 2006 her second son was born and he began growing at an even faster rate than the first. Still, no brand had addressed the needs for bigger babies. Pamela has now created that brand. It is unique babywear called Happy Panda, the brand for the bigger baby. She chose a panda because they are distinctive, big in stature but cute all the same.

Pamela and her good friend Emily Sanderson began by talking to people about the concept of Happy Panda. What they found is that most people know of a boy/girl Happy Panda. Many customers have the same story of shopping for a baby by their age only to have the parents take it back to the store because the items were too small. Parents of bigger babies find themselves buying the next size up sometimes two sizes up. This is the reason for creating a store for the big and tall baby.

In 2008 her third baby was born and this time it was a girl! She started out in the average range but is now over 20 pounds and 28" long and is in the 90th percentile ranking in both weight and height at 8 months old. She is currently wearing size 18 months in other brands of clothing. However, when she wears the Happy Panda brand she is right in the 6-12month range and a perfect fit. We are so happy to introduce her to you.
